Through the Lens

My Story

Hello, I'm Ange
I'm a professional family photographer based in the heart of Ulverstone on Tasmania's stunning northwest coast.
My journey into photography started when my own children were small. I wanted to freeze those fleeting moments, the giggles, the messy play, the tiny hands reaching for mine. What began as documenting my own family's story has become my life's work: helping other families preserve their most precious memories.
As a mum myself, I understand the chaos, the exhaustion, and the overwhelming love that comes with raising little humans. I also know how quickly time passes and how important it is to capture these moments before they slip away.

"Every family has a unique story, and I'm honoured to help you tell yours."

My approach is relaxed, authentic, and child-led. I don't believe in forced poses or fake smiles. Instead, I capture the real moments, the in-between giggles, the spontaneous cuddles, the way your toddler scrunches their nose when they laugh.
What I Believe In
Authenticity
Real moments, real emotions, real families. No stiff poses or fake smiles, just you being you.
Connection
I focus on the bonds between you, the way you look at each other, the gentle touches, the love that radiates.
Timelessness
True-to-life colors and classic editing ensure your photos will be cherished for generations to come.
A Peek Behind The Camera

A Few Things About Me
Family
I'm a proud mum to two beautiful children who keep me on my toes and remind me daily why capturing family moments matters so much.
My Gear
I shoot with professional Nikon mirrorless equipment and have invested in the best lenses to ensure crystal clear, beautiful images in any lighting condition.
Beyond Photography
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with a chai in hand, hanging out with my favourite little toddler cousin, at the beach or playing board games with the fam.
What Fuels Me
Nothing brings me more joy than hearing a client say "You've captured us perfectly!" That's when I know I've done my job.
