This is one of our most loved events of the year!
We are so excited to welcome families back this November for the Santa and Christmas photo experience.
This isn't just a photo session. Depending on which experience you pick, it might mean your child getting a private, one on one moment meeting the real Santa in an intimate, beautifully styled space, or it might just be you and the kids soaking up the festive sets for that Christmas card photo, no Santa required. Either way, it all happens in our stunning heritage studio on Reibey Street in Ulverstone, Tasmania. The studio is full of warmth and character; the kind of space that makes the whole thing feel a bit special the moment you walk in. This year we've styled two gorgeous set ups, and every family gets time at both, Santa or no Santa. It's cosy, it's magical and one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Set 1: Santa's lounge
Where your family's Christmas experience begins
Step into a warm and nostalgic Christmas setting where timeless style meets festive magic.
This beautifully styled space is where your family's Christmas story begins. If you've chosen one of our Santa Experiences, this is where your children will enjoy their personal one on one visit with Santa, taking the time to chat, explore and soak up the wonder of Christmas together. Inspired by the charm of an old-world Christmas, the set features rich textures, warm lighting, vintage inspired décor and beautiful natural tones against our brick wall to create elegant, timeless Christmas photos you'll treasure for years to come.
Whether you're visiting with little believers, older children or the whole extended family, this set has been designed to create beautiful, relaxed Christmas photos and special moments you'll love looking back on every Christmas.
Set 2: Santa's Sleigh
The perfect ending to your Christmas experience
Once you're ready, we'll make our way to Santa's Sleigh for the final chapter of your Christmas experience.
This magical setting is complete with a crisp white background, a beautiful traditional red Sleigh surrounded by lush snow covered trees. We'll capture some beautiful family photos and then finish with one of the highlights of the session, a magical snowfall or bubbles that children absolutely love.
With plenty of opportunities for natural laughter, cuddles and connection, Santa's Sleigh is the perfect place to create beautiful family Christmas photos that you'll proudly display and enjoy for many Christmases to come.

Each family gets a private ten minute session, full access to both set ups, and five beautifully edited digital images to keep.
Want them all? You can upgrade to the full digital gallery after you have booked for $60, plus there's the option to add prints and other keepsakes once you see your photos.

Vintage Santa $150
Spend some one on one time meeting our lovely Vintage styled Santa, he is gentle and kind and loves to hear your children's Christmas wishes.

All the Christmas magic, no Santa required. Captured in both beautiful settings, great for families who want a beautiful festive photo their way.

Spend some one on one time with Devonport's own Classic Santa in his bright red suit, a firm favourite with the little ones.

Common Questions
Q: Can I use both set ups in one session?
A: Yes, your 10 minutes can be split across the vintage couch and the sleigh set up, whatever suits your family.
Q: Can I add extra images or prints after my session, or only on the day?
A: Upgrades are best selected before your session, however you can wait until you have seen your gallery then decide.
Q: What if my child won't sit still or has a meltdown?
A: We'll always do our best to capture beautiful images, with or without Santa, and even the teary ones often turn into cherished memories down the track. If you think your kiddo might be a bit shy or need some time to warm up, just ask our elves to start with family photos first, then bring Santa in towards the end of your session. That way, whatever happens, you'll still walk away with gorgeous photos from your time with us. And if you're really after guaranteed happy photos and aren't sure how your little one will go meeting Santa, our no Santa Christmas Sessions are a lovely option too, all the magic of the sets without the surprise factor. Just a reminder, we're not able to reschedule or refund based on a child's reaction on the day.
Q: How can I prepare my child?
A: Read some Santa books, watch a holiday movie or two, and get them chatting about who they're going to meet. If you've got an older kid, have them bring a wish list along, it's a great prop and gets them talking to Santa.
Q: How many people can be in one session?
A: Sessions are for immediate family only. If you'd love extended family involved too, book back to back sessions for each family and we'll grab a group photo together at the end.
Q: Is the set different from last year?
A: Yes, we've got two brand new sets for 2026, the Santa's Lounge area for your visit with Santa and the sleigh with snow or bubbles for your family photos.
Q: Is full payment required to book?
A: Yes, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Q: Can I reschedule after booking?
A: Sessions can't be rescheduled, but if your plans change you're welcome to gift or sell your session to someone else.
Q: Can I bring my support animal?
A: Yes, support animals are always welcome in the studio.
