These first days are a blur of feeding, nappy changes, and stolen sleep. You're exhausted, overwhelmed, and completely in love. And while you're living it, it's impossible to remember just how tiny those fingers were, how perfectly your baby curled into you, or the sweet sighs they made while sleeping.
That's where I come in.
My newborn sessions are designed to be calm, comfortable, and completely stress-free. We work at baby's pace, feeding breaks, settling time, whatever they need. There's no rush.
I specialise in capturing the authentic, tender moments between you and your baby. The way you look at them. The tiny details that change so quickly. The overwhelming love that's hard to put into words but impossible to miss in photographs.

I'm Ange, a newborn photographer based in Ulverstone on Tasmania's North West Coast . I photograph babies and their families in my warm, natural light studio, creating a mix of beautiful newborn portraits and relaxed, natural family moments.

Prefer the comfort of your own home? I can bring the newborn photography experience to you. At-home sessions are relaxed and natural, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and settling. We’ll use the spaces and light in your home to capture those beautiful everyday moments with your new little family. There’s no need for your home to be perfect. I’ll guide you through what works best and focus on the connection between you and your baby.

When Should I Book My Newborn Photographer?
Book during your pregnancy
Reserve your newborn session during your second or third trimester. This ensures I have availability when baby arrives and gives you one less thing to worry about after birth.

Best timing for photos
First 5-14 Days: Babies are sleepiest, curliest
First 3 Weeks: Still great for lifestyle sessions
After 3 Weeks: Still beautiful, babe will be more alert

What to bring
For Studio Sessions:
Just yourselves and your baby! I have everything else. Bring dummy if baby uses one.

For At home Sessions:
I bring some outfits and blankets for babe, but your personal items make it special. Consider outfits for family photos (I send a style guide).

The Reality:
Your baby will probably cry, poop, pee, spit up, and need multiple feeding breaks. That's totally normal and expected!
We work at THEIR pace. There's no rush. I've seen it all. 😊
