Behind the Magic, Our Santa Christmas Photo Experience 2025

Updated: Jul 25

Last November was our very first year running a dedicated Santa and Christmas experience, we didn't expect it to be met with so much love, but it was, and it completely took us by surprise. We set up inside a beautiful old historical church in Forth, and for a few weeks in November it turned into the cosiest little pocket of Christmas magic on the coast.

This year we're moving things into the studio on Reibey Street in Ulverstone, but before we get into 2026, we wanted to look back and say thank you for making our first year one we'll never forget.

The families we met

We got to meet so many gorgeous families last November, and every single session had its own little story. We captured a few sneaky pregnancy announcements tucked in among the Christmas photos, not a secret now though! We photographed a five-day old baby having her very first Christmas photos, and on the other end, a beautiful 101-year-old Gran, surrounded by generations of her family. That's the bit we love most about these sessions; they're not just for the kids.

The little details that made it magic

  • Almost 1000 lollipops handed out by our Santas across the season

  • A snow machine and a bubble machine, so there was always something magical drifting through the air

  • Finding the Elves hidden in the trees

  • Finding Santa snoozing on the couch

  • Santa received so many beautiful letters

What's next

We're so grateful for how families showed up for our first year, and we can't wait to bring all that same magic into the new studio for November 2026. Same warmth, same Santas, a brand-new space.
